Now that I have my Samsung Smart TV, it has become oh so easy to watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, and HBO Go. I find myself watching those in the free time that I have as it makes it easy for me to do my favorite TV past time... binge watching! Binge Watching is the perfect way to watch TV, you watch a show in your own time with no cliffhangers and no commercials. If you're bored with a storyline, you just skip a couple episodes until the show gets good again... no more suffering with a stupid plot.
This means that I rarely if ever watch live television now. I get my news online and really only watch one time events on TV like a football game or news coverage of a specific event. Herein lies my problem... I pay for television services that I don't use. I am trying so hard to break away from cable TV but am having a hard time doing so. Why can't they have an ala carte cable pricing plan? Give me a couple of the news channels, and the option to watch HBO and ShowTime alone and I would be so gone. I don't even need the network shows. I'd pay the $20 - $30 to get them on iTunes anyway just so that I can see them without the commercials.
Cable TV has become that relationship that I'm in that I desperately want to end but can't...
Cable TV, One day I'm gonna quit you...
